Interesting title, don't you think? -_-
Anyways, I just finished the first of two bracers, in the same weave as the previous smaller one. Only, this one is A LOT bigger. You probably wouldn't say it, but this one took about 30-40 hours to make! And it's also a lot heavier, I haven't been able to precicely weigh it, but I'm sure it's at least 700 grams. When I've finished the second one, I'll wear them every day. I'm too lazy to do weightlifting and all that, so maybe that'll help in getting stronger arms...


Model: My arm again. Can you see why I'd like to get stronger arms?
Rings: at least 4000 made from 1.2mm rebar tie steel wound around a 6mm rod.
Weave: Half Persian 3in1 Sheet 6.
Weight: about 750 grams!!
Current use: none at the moment, but I'll probably wear it every day when I've finished the second one.

The weave is pretty hard to learn, but once you've mastered it, it's quite easy (but isn't that with everything?). And I might post another picture when I've finished the second one and tied them up with leather strings, but it'll take at least another week before I finish the second one.

You won't find this anywhere on the net, nor in any shop for that matter. I'd commission one.. But it weighs at least 700 grams, so I'd have to make it in black aluminium, which I'll have to get shipped from Canada, and aluminium is expensive already.. So that'd make at least 50 euro's worth of material, and then I'm forgetting the 30+ hours of work :p

However, I can easily make another one of these: [link] - lots smaller but still quite heavy, but not too heavy so I don't have to buy aluminium for that. But shipping to Israel would be quite expensive..
